Meet Chris

Meet Chris! A native Rhode Islander who cherished childhood treks to the White Mountain National Forest where he would bask in the steep slopes of Mount Washington and the Franconia Ridge while on family vacations.

Chris is a multi-disciplined mountain athlete; seemingly always finding joy out of moving one’s body. This avid trail runner can also be found kayaking or biking - enthusiastically exploring and seeking out hidden nooks and crannies within his local woods - either solo or with his wife and two daughters.

At a young age, Chris found he could combine his two greatest passions - exploring at a quick and efficient pace - trail running! It did not take long for our good friend to venture from his local Rhode Island trails northwardly to the Lakes Region before eventually settling in the Connecticut River Valley - home in the Western Whites!

Here, Chris has basically all he needs - a Mount Cube backyard playground, the mighty Moosilauke and also the vast trail network comprising the Green Woodlands. But, Chris will never turn down a Sandwich Wilderness trail ramble or an off-trail, bushwhack to reach secret ledges, hidden lookouts or other treasures tucked in the forest.

When not planning visits to shimmering lakes or bountiful boreal forests, Chris has been non-commitally ticking off peaks on the NH48, VT 4000-footers, 52 With a View, Northeast Kingdom Hiking Challenge, as well as White Mountain & Southern NH Red-lining/Trail Tracing.

Happy Trails, Chris!
