It all began with a desire to hike in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
We learned all about mountains from the east coast to west; studying and observing geology, wildlife, and finding incredible views along the way.
From certified Leave No Trace instructor (Erik), and Herbalist (Alanna), this entertaining duo shares the stage to deliver custom tailored Presentations to your class or staff. Knowledgably explaining and demonstrating through hands on gear and equipment to fascinating photographs through an extensive slideshow - bringing you scenes, and explanations about why we brought the gear, and how we made the most of traveling, backpacking, climbing, hiking and sharing space in a Subaru Hatchback for five weeks!
